WELCOME
Welcome to the Cleveland church of Christ. We know that anytime we visit someplace different we all have questions and concerns about what to expect. These feelings are normal for everyone and this is our effort to answer some of those concerns, and in doing so, we hope to make you feel more comfortable.

 

The church of Christ was founded in 33 AD by Jesus Christ and His apostles on the day of Pentecost, as we read in the Bible's book of Acts, Chapter 2. Jesus Christ gave His apostles instruction about how the church was to be organized (I Corinthians 11:1-3), what was to be taught (I Peter 1:18-25) and how members of His church were to behave (I Timothy 3:14-15). The apostles wrote all these things down and it became what we know as the New Testament of the Bible. We, as His church, use the Bible exclusively to find all answers to the questions about how we are to live to please God. There is no body of men who make rules for the church of Christ; there is only God's Holy word.

 

As our guest, you may or may not participate in the service. You may feel comfortable taking part in some things and not comfortable taking part in others. This is quite alright. Following the service, if you have any questions regarding what was said, done or any other question please feel free to ask any member and we will answer your question from the Bible. If your time is short and we can not answer the question to your satisfaction on the spot, we will set up a convenient time and examine the Scriptures with you to find the answer from God's Holy Scriptures.
